About Us

First Retail Partners was formed by Scott Thiell and Roger Carlson as a boutique retail real estate brokerage company. We look to maintain strategic relationships with our clients, and provide our broad-based services at the highest possible level.

Our philosophy is to continue to offer highly insightful advice and market counseling in order to have our clients execute their goals. From handling a large scale, multi-unit tenant rollout, or leasing the ground floor of an office building, we fully commit to the task and use all of our resources for a successful result.

Our successes include multi-store rollouts in the greater Washington/Baltimore region for Panera Bread, Trader Joe’s Stores, Ruby Tuesday Restaurants, Kinko’s Copies, Hollywood Video, Washington Sports Clubs, Commerce Bank, Damon’s, World Market and many others. Our project leasing successes include Potomac Yards Center, Hechinger Commons Shopping Center, Germantown Square Shopping Center, Meridian at Eisenhower Station, and many other urban, first floor properties.
